- McDonald’s (MCD, $243.16) has announced an attractive 10% increase in the quarterly dividend to $1.52 per share from $1.38 per share. The annual dividend will be $6.08 a share with a projected yield of 2.5% at the current share price. The cash payment will be made on 15th December to shareholders on the register from the 1st December 2022.
- McDonald’s capital growth strategy is to reinvest in the business to expand profit and pay any surplus capital back to shareholders through dividends. This increase comes as no surprise since, over the last 46 years, McDonald’s dividend has hiked every year since it paid its first dividend in 1976.
