  • Dubai International Airport experienced a remarkable rebound in the first half of the year, surpassing pre-pandemic 2019 passenger levels. The airport's CEO attributed this success to maintaining service excellence and the dedicated efforts of the team in providing an exceptional travel experience. During this period, the airport handled 41.6 million passengers, exceeding 100% of the passenger count from the first half of 2019.
  • In response to the surge in passenger traffic, Dubai International Airport revised its annual passenger forecast for the second time this year. The airport's full-year estimate was increased to 85 million passengers, a slight decrease of only 1.6% compared to the passenger traffic recorded in 2019.
