- Dubai Ports World (DP World) has acquired 58% of the Turkish "Evyap Port", as part of a plan to enhance supply chain solutions in Turkey. The Emirati group indicated in a statement that the acquisition comes within the framework of an agreement between it and the Turkish “Evyap Group” to establish a strategic partnership in ownership shares between “DP World Yarimja Port” and “Evyap Port”.
- Dubai-based DP World will own 58% of Evyap Port while the Evyap Group will own 42% of DP World Yarimca once the deal is completed, the UAE company said on Tuesday, and the new business will be named DP World Evyap Port.

Situated within Turkey's largest industrial area, the port plays a pivotal role in the trade route connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa. Evyap Group is presently in charge of operating Evyap Port, which ranks as Turkey's fourth-largest private port. The DP World Yarimca container terminal, situated in the Izmit Gulf, is among the most sizable in the nation, boasting a capacity of 1.15 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs).
