- In the coming months, Domino's will roll out 800 custom-made 2023 Chevy Bolt electric vehicles throughout the US, in line with the company's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
- The new vehicles will have a 259-mile range and will be custom-branded with Domino's logos. Around 100 vehicles have been delivered to stores in November, and an additional 700 will be reached in the coming months. Providing company EVs to applicants with driving licenses will also bolster Domino’s recruitment efforts, and interest more delivery drivers.
Why it matters
In 2019, Domino's began an e-bike delivery program in 2019 which has been expanded to 24 international markets to support e environmentally friendly causes. This year they have expanded the project with the Chevy Bolt EV to help reach zero emissions, and lower maintenance/fuelling costs in contrast to nonelectric vehicles.
