  • The UAE's non-oil commerce is flourishing and setting records, hitting AED1 trillion and growing at a 17% pace in the first half of 2022.
  • In the first half of 2022, the UAE's non-oil exports exceeded AED180b for the first time in its history. The growth rate was 53% compared to the first half of 2020 and 8% compared to the same period in 2021. The country's imports climbed during the first half of 2022, surpassing the AED580b mark. Compared to the same period in 2021, it saw an increase of 19%.
