  • e& announced its commitment to achieving zero carbon emissions across its operations (Scope 1 and 2) globally by 2040, building on its earlier pledge to be net zero in the UAE by 2030. The company set near-term targets for 2030, aiming for a Group-wide reduction of 43% from its activities and energy usage (Scope 1 and 2 emissions) and a 25% reduction in Scope 3 emissions, covering its supply chain and investments. These targets have been submitted for verification by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). e& emphasizes its commitment to achieving net zero emissions across its entire value chain (Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions) by 2050, employing carbon offsetting for remaining emissions.

The company's Sustainability as a Service initiative further positions it as a catalyst in global sustainability efforts, enabling businesses to reduce their environmental impact.

Currently under validation by SBTi, the roadmap outlines strategies for achieving 2030 targets, emphasizing energy efficiency, low-carbon energy transitions, and a holistic approach to decarbonizing the value chain.
