What fees will I be charged if I deposit?

baraka does not charge any fees when you deposit money. However, depending on which deposit method you use, there are fees charged by third parties (i.e., your bank or our payment service provider).

  • For Debit Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay (“Instant Funding”), the fees that are charged by Checkout.com (gateway fees) are as follows:
    • For Visa cards issued in the UAE, the percentage fee is 0.7% and the plain fee is 0.28 USD.
    • For other cards issued in UAE, the percentage fee is 2.45% and the plain fee is 0.28 USD.
    • For cards issued outside of UAE, the percentage fee is 3.55% and the plain fee is 0.28 USD.

  • For Connect UAE Bank and Bank Transfer, your bank may charge you for international transfers. Please contact your bank for more information on the related fees. In most cases, fees are between 15 and 35 USD, per transaction.
